The Neighborhood

Not all Neighborhoods are created equal.

Neighborhoods should be a reflection of who we are and how we live. Our style is more oriented to the family out for a walk, the kids on their bikes and the leisurely front porch chat. Let’s face it, neighborhoods are about the people – and how those people share their daily experiences. We invite you to come out and take a look at how well connected our neighborhood is. People greet each other and interact with their neighbors. A neighborhood is no good without the neighbors.

Some Builders talk about "Master-Planned" as the "end all be all" of neighborhood design. Take a closer look though. What you might find is that "Master-Planned" is a code word for "HUGE" – a great big subdivision with as many homes crammed into the place as can possibly fit. Places where the focus is on number of "roof-tops" built so the developer can sell out the prime retail and office stuff down the road. We think neighborhoods are logically connected to their community. They take advantage of the fact that there are schools and churches, shopping and dining that are already in place.

Come out and take a look for yourself. We think you will like what you see. That’s our Neighborhood.

Go to the park? Yes.

Backyard Bar-B-Q? Absolutely!

What is it with these neighborhoods that focus so intently on their park land? Take a closer look – maybe what’s missing is the yard! While all of us can agree on the importance of being good stewards of the land, that shouldn’t mean giving up the back yard. Let’s face it – summers are short and the back yard is the hub of our summer activities. As Homeowners, we take pride in that space – building elaborate patios, putting up play-sets and spending quality time on our gardens and landscape. Let’s at least have a space for the kids and adults to gather and play – without having to go down the block!
